    It was quite a project we added Around 700 square-foot to the property two stories 350 for the sunroom and 350 for the master Bedroom the structure is very solid. It’s well built the subcontractors that KM hires are top-notch my three sons electrical was superb. The guys that did The foundation were excellent. The concrete guys that poured the pad did a great job and the guys that framed were on it. And my project manager was there to keep me informed all along the way it took a little longer than usual, I think, but we had a hard time getting permits because of the historic society that we boarded up on But if your patient and let them do there job you’ll get a great result the last photo was what they replaced definitely definitely a major upgrade See more See less

    We had a wonderful experience working with Mel & Kris of KM Shield Construction. They had the project of changing the screened in porch to a 3 seasons room. And boy does it look fantastic! Their quality of craftsmanship is exceptional - very detailed. It’s apparent they have a sense of pride in making sure the project is done correctly. If there was a mistake, we only had one, it was corrected immediately. We really appreciated that the project was done on time, the work space was always clean at the end of the day, and the subs knew what needed to be done when they arrived. Shout out to the painter Marcos for his attention to detail! Also, it was easy to get in touch with them if we had a question and someone would always call every morning to let us know time & who would be there. We would DEFINITELY use KM again!!     Without hesitation I recommend KM Shield Construction Services for your remodeling needs. I don’t give this recommendation lightly. We all are concerned that when we are willing to spend thousands of our hard earned dollars on home improvements that we get what we paid for. We got what we paid for and more with KM Shield Construction Services. Our first job with them was a total kitchen remodel along with several ancillary jobs including replacing our aging foyer tile with new flooring, painting and replacing lighting fixtures, installing new insulation and more. Our second job involved an emergency plumbing repair that updated our plumbing to PVC pipes from the old metal pipes that had ruptured. The most recent job was remodeling and updating two of our three bathrooms along with rebuilding an adjacent closet and replacing the tiles in the hallway. I am looking forward to working with them again on other household projects. I will finish with saying that I absolutely love my new kitchen (and everything else they have done for me). With their guidance, quality workmanship and attention to detail I still am in awe about what I have now versus what it was before.     KM Shield recently completed a complete master bath demolition and re-construction. While this project took a little longer than expected (probably my wishful thinking), I have absolutely no issues with the finished product. It is everything we wanted and more!     KM Shield renovated our primary bath and they were fabulous. Their team protected our home, and went above and beyond in giving us a beautiful primary bath. Mel and Chris worked seamlessly together to create a zero entry shower and created a space that is not only one-of-a-kind, but also luxurious. KM Shield focused on our job and had a team in place at each stage of the construction. I did work with their designer who assisted me in making all the right design decisions. They have a tremendous portfolio of previous jobs and all of their work is stunning. Some companies say they can make your ideas a reality but they never quite get it right. Throughout this entire renovation, Mel and Chris never failed in giving us the design we had envisioned for our primary bath. Thank you again for a job well done! See more See less
